Difference is Estrogen Levels with/without Anastrozole....

My protocol for 1st set of labs is 40mg Test every 3.5 days and .25mg of Anastrozole when I take my shot. Bloods are done just before the next shot is to be taken, so this is the end of a cycle.

Estradiol is 14.6
Total Estrogens is 86

2nd set of labs is the same protocol but no Anastrozole.

Estradiol is 24.8
But, Total Estrogens is 208!

Should I be concerned? Go back to the Anastrozole?

I'm trying to go to an EOD protocol with test. Should I wait to see what bloods look like on EOD before doing anything else?

Thanks for your help!

For what you listed as "Estradiol" is the the ultra sensitive LC/MS/MS...can you post the lab range? Total Estrogens is useless, stop using it.

Hi Maneframe150, Just tell them you are from Canada or England and all of a sudden your E2 non sensitive will have value. Haha
As far as I know in men we only care about E2. E1 and E3 have no effect on us. In all fareness I have no idea if that is true but it is what I have read here.

If all you have is the non sen E2 measurement just know it can be off by quite a bit. A 60 non sen can really be 40 sen. I would go by you symptoms. Are you experiencing any high E2 symptoms.

Ok not the US makes a little more sense now. But for instance I'm one that can pull a higher sensitive reading than the standard E2 test so it may not be true that he could be running lower E2 than indicated. In this case I'm not sure which of the tests are available to you and which would be the best for you to use.
