DHEA, worth supplementing?

Tommy, thanks for posting the study. I do wonder about DHEA, I know in the past before I started TRT it did raise my estrogen. Because my are levels are somewhat low I did started supplementing with 10mg of jarrow dhea and I will decide what to do after my next labs.

Here is a great thread that discusses several studies. DHEA may be beneficial for some men on TRT since TRT doses above 100 mg per week lower DHEA. 25-50 mg per day is a good starting dose. There will be a small increase in estradiol but I do not think it will be excessive in most men.

Thx!

I started it after some lab test I made for 1/2 year ago, where it was a bit lower at the lower end. I will check the level again when I will do my next lab test. I also tried Pregnenolone for some weeks and it made my only sleepy so back to the drawer it went. In my case I think it should be enough to take DHEA 25mg 3 times per week just keep the level in the middle.
