cialis and acid reflux

So for those of you who suffer from acid reflux from Cialis, what are you doing to combat it? I know the easy answer is an antacid but I was just wondering if there were any other options out there. I usually take Ranitidine when it flares up, which is almost daily but I have a feeling this isn't a good long term solution.

You should avoid any of the PPIs such as Prilosec, etc

I don't like the calcium in Tums but it is effective, I'm starting to prefer Pepto when I need a little symptom relief.

I just use 2 to 3 1000mg tums ultra.

I'm wondering how Levitra and Viagra are regarding reflux.

Something you may want to try is eating ginger. My wife had acid reflux so bad that she slept more nights sitting up than laying down. She was taking Nexium and it didn't necessarily work. Someone had her try ginger and it works for her. She dropped Nexium years ago and just eats a piece of ginger when needed.
