Does anyone chew up their sildenafil or dissolve it under their tongue? Does it really work quicker? does it need to be under your tongue? I can't seem to find much info on this subject.

I dissolve mine under my tongue. It only takes a few minutes. I believe it works faster that way.

I got this idea here from Vince Carter. It does work. Not sure if faster- should work in 30-60 minutes, not a long time, but definitely helps with the full stomach problem.

Thank you for the responses. Any idea why it's more effective dissolving under the tongue versus chewing and swallowing, or are both methods equally effective?

Viagra has an absorption problem if taken orally with food or after a meal, using it sublingually avoids that problem. Just hold it in your mouth, under your tongue, or between cheek and gums about 30 minutes then swallow it down.

True story. I get a good response from 10 minutes. Enables a good response along with a decent meal. Just don't eat too much. I prefer sex on an empty stomach, but am often starving at the end of the day. I place it under the tongue for 10 minutes or till dissolved, eat a moderate meal, and am good.

I've never tried this method, it's about time I do. When I do I'll post my results.

I wouldn't advise this for a number of reasons. It tastes terrible, you get more drug into the blood stream than you want at a higher rate, and it often won't last as long. The theory is that by increasing the surface area and getting some on the mucousal membranes you get a quicker more powerful onset, which isn't always a good thing, especially with a vasodilator. I would recommend either speaking with our physician and getting Troches from us here at Telthera or any of the number of other pharmacies if you really want something soluble and quicker acting.
