can T cream clear up brain fog in just 5 days?

Can anyone tell me if it is likely to feel significantly improved mental energy and focus within 5 days of starting a daily morning dose of testosterone skin cream that contains 50 mg testosterone (I assume 10% of this or 5 mg was actually getting into my system)? I am trying to determine if the cream I recently started from my doctor could have been responsible for this effect, but I also had a few other treatments going on at the same time so can't say for sure.

I first tried reading the stickies and searching the forums to find an answer (I also read Nelson's book). Nelson has a post indicating that most effects from exogenous testosterone take much longer to appear: How-long-does-testosterone-take-to-show-effects

I am 41 years old and happy with my body's form and function and not trying to get ripped or treat ED. My goal is is to resolve chronic disabling physical and mental fatigue.

Thanks!

Did it have that effect on you hammy? If it did...then it can. Just depends on the individual. People may say that it is not possible, but if you have first hand experience then you already know it can at least for you.

Cream is said to initially raise your levels quickly, so I would say "yes" to your question. Dopamine is likely involved as well, but as long as you feel better, its all good!

I didn't know about the dopa spike and will factor that in.

After 4 weeks I stopped using the T cream because I didn't know when I had started about the risks of it shutting down my body's ability to produce T or the risks to my fertility. I decided to take a break while I do some research about the risks and benefits.

After stopping the T cream 2 weeks ago my mental energy decreased, although it remained better than it was before I started, when I had none at all to get through daily life. I strongly suspect the T cream provided a significant foundation for my improvement during that month, but as I said I was trying several different things simultaneously.

Libido has always been fine in my case general, although I mostly refrain from that kind of activity owing to my physical fatigue. While I was taking the cream I think it increased a bit.

Since I've stopped taking the T cream for the time being, I will try some dopa mucuna and see if I get a similar effect. Thanks for cluing me in about this!
