Anyone used/using calcium d glucarate for estrogen control?

I've been reading a lot of good things lately about calcium d glucarate particularly in it's effectiveness of estrogen control. Just wondering if anyone on here has used it and can share their thoughts on it?

I use it. I take it the day before an injection. No idea if it is effective for estrogen control but lots of sites claim it is. Sounds like it is good for liver health regardless. Do note that it also eliminates testosterone not just estrogen... those sites conveniently leave that part out.

Thanks Craig. I had not heard of it reducing testosterone levels. I will have to research that. So, if you're not taking it primarily for estrogen control, why are you taking it?

It is well documented for helping the liver remove toxins from the body. This supplement seems to be very safe to take so I see little downside. I do take it on the day prior to an injection when I surmise that my estrogen is highest and my testosterone lowest. I figure that maximizes the amount of estrogen it helps remove and minimizes the amount of testosterone removed.

Hmm, ok then. That's not what I want. I might start a new thread asking what people's preferred method of estrogen control is. Thanks for the replies everyone.

I can tell you here and save you time. Cialis 10 mg a day. It changes the T to E2 ratio in favour of testosterone. It’s amazing.

I have blood work that shows it lowered my E2 by 33%. Recommended dose doesn’t mean much. You can do 20 mg a day even no problem.

I use 5mg daily and it made a shit lick of a difference.....labs to prove!

Pure stupidity to tell someone to jump on 10mg daily when they have absolutely no clue how they will react.

Sift through the literature 2.5-5 mg daily is the recommended dose.

Sure one can use higher doses when doing daily but in most cases, it would never be needed.

Lots to consider here. I have used cialis before (not for e2 control) and it typically made my face very red. However that would have been a lot more than the lower dosages recommended here.

What is your current protocol (dose T/injection frequency)?

Where do your trough TT, FT, and e2 levels sit?

Where they tested using the most accurate assays TT/estradiol (LC/MS-MS) and FT (Equilibrium Dialysis or Ultrafiltration)?

What is your SHBG as it will have a significant impact on TT/FT let alone can dictate what injection frequency may suit you best.

Critical to know where your FT level sits on such protocol (dose T/injection frequency).

The only way to know where it truly sits is to have it tested using the most accurate assays such as the gold standard Equilibrium Dialysis or Ultrafiltration (next best).

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
