Hello everyone
I wanna first thank you all, I learned a lot here about TRT.

I am 23y and I had severe congenital anemia when I was a kid, which was treated by chemotherapy(the cause of my hypogonadism) and bone marrow transplant. I still have a little bit of anemia and I started with tostran 2
% gel four days ago (6 pumps ==> 60mg of testosterone Applied to the Skin).

I know that the increase of hematocrit is a positive side effect for me but will my hematocrit keep increasing above the danger zone in the long term?

Hematocriet 0.34 l/l (normal 0.40 - 0.50)
Hemoglobine 6.8 mmol/l (normal 8.5 - 11.0)
Testosteron 2.7 nmol/l (normal 8.8 - 32.4)
SHBG 49 nmol/l
free testosteron 38.0 pmol/l (normal 160 - 640)

Before I began trt (was age 25 at the time) my hematocrit was 35.7 (37.5-51.0)

I was slightly anemic before my treatment. After being on injections for 2.5 years, my hematocrit sits around 40-45 consistently.

My dr viewed my borderline anemia as something that TRT could help treat along with my actually low T.

I wouldn’t be worried if I were you. It is something that will be tracked in every blood work you do. If it starts to get too high, you can lower your dose or donate blood.

You are at an advantage here seeing as your pre-trt hemoglobin/hematocrit levels are low.

When using exogenous testosterone hemoglobin/hematocrit levels will increase within the first month and can take up to 9-12 months to reach peak levels.

Any time testosterone dose is increased during trt if a protocol needs to be tweaked in order to bring up TT/FT levels than hemoglobin/hematocrit levels will increase again up to a certain point.

Although your TT is absurdly low along with having low hemoglobin/hematocrit.....highly doubtful your levels would ever reach the so called danger zone once you have reached a healthy TT/FT level through trt.
