Am I feeling higher estrogen levels?

I quit TRT about 7 months ago due to developing SEVERE anxiety. Anxiety was a new feeling / emotion for me and the 3 months it took to get my body under control was pure hell. I never found out what caused the anxiety, I guessed it was likely from taking 400mg every 14 days. The past 7 months haven't been better either, full effects of Low T have kicked in it sucks but I have not had any anxiety up until now. I talked with an endo and he suggested TRT again because my total test was 180, and all others were also low. Anyway, he gave me a very small injection of 50mg 10 days ago. Day 1-5 no problems, day 6-8 I began getting aggravated more often, Day 9-10 Im feeling anxiety for the first time in about 4-5 months.

Is this what high E2 levels feel like or is something else causing the anxiety? How can I control this? It can't be a coincidence that Im just starting to have anxiety again 10 days after a small injection.

Unfortunately my anxiety also causes breathing issues. Currently I'm talking to the folks at DEFY medical so they can monitor my levels better. However, higher doses might mean more anxiety for me.

Any thoughts / Recommendations/ Suggestions?

Thanks

One thing I can say for sure is that for best results, you need to inject T twice weekly - every 3.5 days. After your one recent shot you started feeling anxiety at days 6-8 and worse by 9-10. Injecting every 3.5 days avoids these swings in levels that cause all sorts of issues.

The fact that your doc doesn't seem to understand that is a red flag for sure and indicates that you need a new TRT doc to enjoy some success.

So do you think the anxiety I'm feeling could have been induced by such a low dose of Test Cyp? Is what I am feeling the peak and valleys Ive heard about? 50mg seems to be a very low amount and has me a little reserved. I am getting all of my paperwork and labs together to send to Defy, I have read about taking shots every 3.5 days and will move to that.

Anxiety is very tough / Is it possible to get on a TRT regiment that completely removes anxiety or will I always get these issues here and there on TRT?

Thanks

Yes, with smaller and more frequent injections your T levels will reach a steady level after a few weeks. Hopefully that will also help in getting under control your E2 levels, otherwise you might want to start using an AI.

Could have been estrogen, could have been that your dosing frequency is all messed up. Injections should be once per week or bi weekly per the latest evidence based practice. The Defy docs know what they are doing pertaining to TRT.
