Advice Needed for Testosterone Therapy

I am 33 years old and have a testosterone level of 394 ng/dL. Estradiol 57 pg/mL. I am 6’1” and 229 pounds (pretty high bodyfat percentage).

I live in New Zealand and a lot of doctors here have got no idea on how to treat this properly. My doctor initially didn't want to test my Testosterone for 2 years, as I wasn't over 40...

Found a new doctor who prescribed me Clomid 25mg every second day, but the 394 is as heigh as it got. And I took that stuff for a while… I stopped taking it around 10 December though as I wasn’t getting any results and have not had any treatment since.

I have moved town and found a new doctor who is open to prescribing me HCG and testosterone. But he has got no experience with HCG. For me that is important though as I want to stay fertile and I read on the blog about the 500 IU HCG every 2 days?

Overall I feel really bad. I have been suffering from anxiety, general lack of energy and depression since 2008 and I think a lot of this has to do with hormonal imbalances. For example my Cortisol is 25 ug/dl. I am also overweight and despite going to the gym regularly, eating low carb diet and not drinking, I can’t lose weight. I have been unable to take up a lot of work opportunities because of my anxiety.

After all the research I have done I would like to get the following protocol:
500 IU HCG every second day - 1,500 IU per week
50mg testosterone every second day - 150 mg per week
.5mg Arimidex twice per week

I have not hat my DHEA tested, but I will, because my gut is telling me that it will be low due to high Cortisol. So maybe some DHEA (50mg) per day?

I saw Nigel's video where he combined the testosterone and HCG into 2 weekly injections. If you were to inject 500 IU HCG every 2 days, could you then also spread the testosterone injections to 3 times per week, so you can get everything done on the same days? Say Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday and so forth? I don't like needles but injections seem to be the way to go and if I take HCG, might as well inject the testosterone?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am seeing my doctor next week and he asked me to do some research into all this, so any guidance would be great.

Thanks

Alex

Those are my latest blood tests.

Also note that I have had a DVT back in 2006 and suffer from anxiety attacks. I am also suffering from prostatitis. Have not been on long term antibiotics for it, but my doctor has been trying to treat it with supplements. My urine flow is pretty bad and prostate feels a bit swollen.

Alex,

You've said you have high fat content; hence, one begs the question as to what is your lifestyle like? Do you exercise at all? What do you eat?

...TRT is not a magical 'pill' that will solve all your problems...if you are NOT exercising or eating 'right' then there are areas in your life that need to change. You need to do your part as well.

Hopefully this is not the case but please fill us in.

Alex do you mind sharing the doctor who would prescribe you TRT? I have similar/lower levels than you and I'm 25. Thank you! I am based in Auckland.
