The answer to your question is simple. No. You are suffering with anxiety and you need to work on that drug free. Some CBT with a therapist and a solid routine of exercise, diet, stress reduction, and behavioral interventions is called for. TRT is not going to help, rather it will make you a more muscular and fit bundle of nerves.

TRT is best delayed, as older guys have an easier time adjusting and a better response. Maybe his is physiological, maybe psychological, but it appears to be easier for us older guys. You are not ready and testosterone is not the front line attack for what you are dealing with. Start with cognitive behavioral therapy, diet, and exercise. Learn some stress reduction like meditation, breathing techniques, to progressive relaxation. Train your mind like it is your body- because it is. Get on test after you are at least 40.

I forgot to add I also got low libido and have difficulty maintaining an erection. I do agree that i have some anxiety to some degree but what do you think of the other symptoms? I said anxiety is the worst because its what bothering me the most, the rest are still there but I just know to handle them better i guess.

also in the bloodwork before steroids, isn’t my free T low? And TT low for my age? Could this attribute to the symptoms?

Thanks for the reply

it could, but are you taking anything for anxiety? You shouldn’t, but meds and some supplements can exacerbate the yymptoms.

Not yet, could you recommend me a good supplement for anxiety? Im trying not to take SSRI as far as I know it can cause more dependence and problem for a temporary fix.

Should I consider TRT? My free T and TT is low right for my age?

You are missing the point of my post. Meds and TRT are a last resort, not the first choice. Get yourself in condition physically as well as mentally. Trust me. I have been a psychotherapist for 23 years and know a little about this kind of stuff.

Most meds will have side effects and nothing is a silver bullet. Supplements tend to be placebo, but there is a peptide that’s can be effective. It is called “Chill Pill” at drseeds.com. I have had family members take it and it is effective. You, however, have to do some work on your anxiety and mental status. Good medications just give you the mental energy to work a behavioral program. Nothing more. Your attitude is the most important part of the equation.

In my attached bloodwork before starting trt or smoking weed, is my Total Testosterone and Free Testosterone low for my age?

I think it looks average. You can definitely work with that. Lifestyle will improve that. Don’t forget to train your mind and look into that Chill Pill from drseeds.com.

My free test was below the bottom range and I thought TRT would help. It just gave me anxiety and made me irritable. I didn't even know what anxiety was before TRT. Then on TRT I was running laps to burn off the nerves and I couldn't sleep.

Extra sleep and meditation w/ Calm app. Also I realized the direct free t test is garbage. If anything, I would consider testing dhea before messing with trt.

Are you watching porn? Sorry but it’s a major cause of ED and low libido in guys your age... Get off the pot... Eat clean organic raw foods, get on a good whole food supplement, get into the gym and workout without steroids. Your way too young to be on T therapy.... Maca, zinc 50 mcg, Boron 10mcg, can all help. Also Dim is great for high estrogen. Stop thinking steroids is the easy way to a great body, it takes years of hard work to get there. As for your constant anxiety getting off the pot will help tremendously.... That stuff is garbage for your mind... don’t care what this world says, it’s crap.... You may have high cortisol levels..Ashwaghandha herb is great for that. 1300mg twice a day... Lastly open up your bible and read Psalms.... it will absolutely change your life for the better....
