Hey,

Just wondering if this is normal or if i did something wrong or what.

I just did my first self injection of 50mg Test cyp only 2 days ago..

Today i rubbed my shoulder and noticed it felt like i had a bruise there, i looked at it, no bruise, nothing visible, no red marks, no swelling, nothing like that..

But it kinda feels like that feeling like you got punched a couple days ago, and you touch it and its kind of sore still

not too bad.. i could just ignore it and forget about it, but overall i would still say its pretty annoying..

is this normal? does your body get used to it eventually?

Also, i noticed after my injection, i pulled the needle out, a small drop of blood came out, is this normal? I noticed in Nelsons video no blood came out when he pulled the needle out..

Also, are you supposed to massage/rub the area after the injection, or do you not touch it? or it doesnt matter?

I used the same exact 1/2 inch 27 gauge srynge Nelson uses in his video... im kind of surprised about this because when i put it in and injected i literally coudlnt even feel it the needle was so small..

thanks

You'll find spots that you don't like to inject in, that's everyone's journey thru HRT. Some soreness on occasion isn't abnormal, you're correctly looking for signs of an infection. I rarely get sore spots anymore...tips: muscle relaxed, rub thoroughly after injecting, those can help, and try different spots. If you can reach it with the dexterity needed, you can inject there. Upper/outer thigh works perfect for me.

I don't get sore after injecting in my shoulder, I use 27g 1/2" syringe like you are describing. I inject in front of a mirror, I try to go straight in and relax my muscle.

Sounds like either A. subq leak or B. virgin muscle PIP.

When you feel it now, is there a palpable lump under the surface?

Oh and the drop of blood, pretty normal, I notice myself that sometimes there's a tiny dot of blood, sometimes there's not. What really annoys me is when the oil leaks out, its as annoying to me as stubbing my toe. Best way I found to alleviate that, is to not use or flex said muscle for about 1 minute after injecting to allow the puncture to close.

At any rate, you'll find PIP to get better as you get better at injecting and your muscles get used to the oil.
