If I’m doing 8mg daily, I know that’s 4 ticks on the 100 unit syringe. How many ticks is that on the 50 unit syringe? I’m pretty sure I just gave myself a double dose by accident.

A unit is a unit... as long as the syringes are marked with U-100 units.

Insulin syringes also come in U-40:

It looks to me that both are indeed U-100. Check the syringes themselves and their packaging for the U-100 designation

Yeah, so, I doubled my dose. I definitely was making this more complicated than it should be. Guess I’m in for an uncomfortable night like the other times I’ve tried to increase dose too far.

No one injecting oil based T is using the U-40 insulin syringes unless it was by mistake due to lack of knowledge.

Even then he has been on the forum since 2017 and he should know by now as there are numerous threads littered on the forum.

Wouldn't the strength of the testosterone make a difference?

Yes this has already been stressed in the thread posted in my reply from post #5 and in numerous threads on the forum.

Need to know the strength of testosterone (TC/TE/TP/T-blend) you are injecting?

Most men on TRT are using TC or TE in the 200 mg/mL strength.

If using 200 mg/mL strength:

U-100 insulin syringe

1 ml = 100 units

0.01 mL = 1 unit = 2 mg TC/TE

Same for the 0.5 mL (50 units) or 0.3 mL (30 units) insulin syringes.
