My ALP has been around 140 for the last two weeks. It was normal before Lipitor I started in February. My doctor is testing it because I want to go back on accutane.
Is this normal? My total cholesterol is <100 now. I had a 60% drop in LDL on 10mg of Lipitor daily.
EDIT: welp doctor called...
Was climbing a tree with my chainsaw about 35’ up. suddenly I was winded, weak, and my vision felt weird. I got down from the tree and my chest was killing me and I got rushed to the hospital. My troponin levels were extremely elevated, ecg was off, and they ran a bunch of tests and transferred...
It’s been a few months now. ExpressScripts my usual pharmacy is even saying it won’t process until 05/24/2023 now. None of my local pharmacies carry it and compounding pharmacies can’t create it now. My sex drive and mental health have steadily declined over the last few months.
What options do...
I haven’t been able to get HCG for 3 months now due to a shortage at my insurance pharmacy.
things were GREAT about two weeks after I discontinued the HCG and I was HYPER-sexual like an 18 year old… it lasted about a month.
then I started losing libido, sensitivity, and getting ED….
where I...
I can’t find anywhere to do therapeutic phlebotomy in Oregon. I tried donating blood yesterday but my hemoglobin was 21... that’s like 63 hematocrit. Because it’s so high I went to the walk-in clinic at the hospital where my PCP works. They saw me and all they did was try lecturing me on the...
I’ve been off accutane for 3 months now... I’ve had 2 full labs since...
I no longer need an AI at 200mg Test C a week. Daily injections.

while I was on accutane I thought my e2 was high, it actually got very very low on the same armidex dose I was on for...
I got my normal labs from defy all of my hormones are great, I feel great, but I’ve been getting night sweats.
I’d there any particular I should test for or is this just the nature of the side effects of the very harsh drug?
I’ve been having the hardest time donating blood since the pandemic. No mobile blood drives and the alternative to the Red Cross is booked for weeks.. I was also told last time I used the Red Cross my numbers were too high and I’ll be denied forever until I call a number they gave me...
I’ve noticed a rapid increase of graying in my beard over the last year since I’ve been on metformin. Has this happened to anyone else? I read it could be due to b12 deficiency.
I’m 35 years old. I’m not overly concerned except isn’t metformin supposed to reduce oxidative stress theoretically...
I’ve been reading up on stem cell treatments for rotator cuff repair. Has anyone here undergone stem cell treatments for shoulders or anything else? It’s very expensive but seem absolutely remarkable.
I’ve been reading about it, it sounds almost like a miracle peptide. Does anyone have any experiences? I’m interested in healing tendons and ligaments. Every few months my shoulder tendon gets inflamed and I have to back off from lifting for a few weeks. Next time I need to back off, I want it...
“The cause of PCOS acne is elevated levels of testosterone. This masculinizing hormone is produced in the bodies of both males and females, especially during the teenage years. In addition to causing hair growth, muscle growth, and aggressive mood, it also thickens and toughens the skin...
A year ago my doctor couldn’t have been more against someone in their mid 30s being on TRT and said he won’t even consider unless someone is like 70 years old and would only give them maybe 50mg a week.. He said my 200mg was dangerous and unhealthy.
well, yesterday he was pretty shocked that I...
Thinking about traveling to the Philippines for like a month in February since it’s cheap and very English speaking friendly. What has been everyone’s traveling experience with doctor prescribed TRT medications?
I noticed there is a VA there... I wonder if the VA would give me all my...
Well, long story short... I switched to flaxseed milk a month ago for the extra 3000mg omega 3’s daily.... been having a really bad acne breakout for about two weeks. In the past I learned high e2 gives me horrible acne... looks like I’m switching back to regular or almond milk.
I managed to cut my SHBG in half over 6 months by taking 9mg Boron Daily and an increase of 40mg of testosterone weekly.
great free T increase as well!
I’ve been reading a lot about Aromatse Inhibitors since my last labs. In March my HDL was 36. September 34.... prior to March I was barely working out and had almost no routine in the gym and my diet was horrendous.
Since March though I’ve been working out hard, I’ve put on 15 pounds of lean...
My doctor asked if I wanted to switch to injecting with insulin needles, I tried it and it takes forever to draw from the bottle. I read that you can heat it and draw at least 3x faster. Would this degrade the quality of the testosterone?
as always thank you.
It’s not really a testosterone side effect for me though. I’ve always had bacne since I was a teen. Lots of people say it’s caused by DHT but, I have minimal body hair, and absolutely no male pattern baldness.
Is there anything besides accutane to get rid of it? Defy Medical can’t prescribe it...
All in all I’ve been in doctor prescribed TRT for over two years now. I’ve been with defy for about a year now, the majority of the last year year has been fantastic since dealing with doctors that really know their shit. I went through a break up this spring and my doctor put me on Zoloft, I...
When I first sarted TRT I loved that the doctor was doing labs right before giving me my injections but now that I’m having side effects I want a more modern approach to TRT and have my blood tested at its peak.
Whenever I make suggestions I get the “Ive been treating patients for 20 years talk”
I go to a TRT clinic I was on 240mg test c / .5 armidex .500 HCG week. Inject just once weekly. Last labs had my total t at 982 on day 7, e2 at 47. I had the labs drawn because I lost my libido and have been suffering from ED.
The doctor reduced me to 180mg test c, 1mg armidex, .500 HCG. To...
I go to a TRT clinic and I haven’t been able to get a good answer from both doctors I’ve had this far. I have a vasectomy, Im on TRT, for life. The first doctor tried selling me on fertility? the second dovctor said it keeps my testicles functional if I decide to come off Replacement therapy...
I'm new to the forums. I was recently told by a local and very expensive clinic that I qualify for TRT; so I'm trying to learn as much about it as I can. I've been very good at introductions, if you have any questions ask away.
