Let us know how it goes mate. I'm doing 500mg of Nicotinamide for some time now with my shake and feels good. I might give the OG Niacin a try as from reading that is what gave the most benefits to people in regards to energy/metabolism. But also my shake has other compounds so its hard to tell which moving part does what but idgaf as long as i'm feeling good and even getting better every week. Energy/vitality/libido/eq been great lately without TRT even though I do miss it sometimes hehe.

And how much of the oral Nicotinamide Riboside are u taking? And what brand are u using?

Just injected 50mg for the first time this morning. Plan on doing 50mg 3x/ week I think.

Also, I’ve been going back and forth on what dose of selegiline to take, and how to take it. But I think I’ve settled on taking it orally. Are u still taking 5mg of selegiline orally per day?

I have been doing 50 mg EOD so far. I am going to up that to 100 mg starting tomorrow. I'm 68, so I require a higher dose to achieve the results I am looking for. After a few months, I plan on getting the IV treatment to see how that feels.

If you look at the ingredients to the original NR product made by Elysium (Basis), it includes their own proprietary NR-E at 250 mg, which is essentially just NR with a fancy name for marketing. They also combine pterostilbene at 50 mg. pterostilbene is similar, but more powerful than resveratrol. A 30 day supply is 60.00. The next top rated product is Tru Niagen which has NR Chloride at 300 mg. and no pterostilbene. That product sells for 40.00 for a 30 day supply. So knowing what ingredients to look for allows you to go shopping for a comparable product that hasn't spent a ton of money on marketing, so they can sell the product at a cheaper price. The tricky part is avoiding the garbage. I found this product:


Ingredients are 1500 mg of NR, plus 200 mg of pterostilbene and TMG. 2 month supply at 2000 mg. is 40.00. They also have a higher amount in the dosage. You could split the dose and just take a single pill and have a 60 day supply. NR is not an expensive item, so there is no reason that they wouldn't be selling a legit product (in theory).

It's interesting you bring up Selegiline. This is another supplement / medication that is age related. I still take 5 mg a day. But a younger person could take less and even split the dosing to EOD or twice a week to see benefits. 2 mg for someone under 40 EOD would likely be a great protocol.

Ya I’m gonna start low and titrate up as needed with the selegiline. Currently taking 1.25mg orally per day. Just turned 39. Will see how this goes for like a month, and then titrate up to 2.5mg orally per day if needed. And then will continue to titrate up, again, if needed. I’ve been taking selegiline for years now. Kind of off and on. But more on the last year or two. Always took it sublingually, and just a little worried about reaching moa-a inhibition territory with the sublingual. I want as little increase in my serotonin levels as possible. Only looking for an increase in dopamine, and the other catecholomines that come with mao-b inhibition. For reference, been mostly doing 1.25mg sublingually EOD or E3D for a long time prior to switching to taking it orally about a couple days ago

Not sure how much weight to put into either, but just thought I’d at least share what I came across. One was a review I read when checking the reviews of the product u linked, and then the other is a Reddit thread I came across

So I emailed the owner and asked why they didn’t show a copy of their third party testing, and the answer was “we’re working on it.” So be aware that it’s cheap for a reason. There’s no NR in it.

Thanks to Gman's sleuthing, it appears that the Orgabay product is bunk. It's a damn shame that there is so much dishonesty in the supplement market. I assumed that the product may have less of the active ingredients than advertised as that is common. But according to testing done, it has none. From Consumer Labs:

"The following 14 products had less than 1% of label claim, Aesticum liposomal 2,000 mg, Aquifoly liposomal 1500 mg, Cellulim 500 mg, Eterna, GriMed, Happy Aging, High Quality, inGreens, Neurogan drops, Neurogan gummies, Orgabay liposomal, Rokit America, Shizam gummies, and Vantein liposomal.

I am going to leave a review on Amazon and demand a refund.

The top NR products are Life Extension, Thorne and Tru Niagen.
