Testo Gel; body application sites

I have been on Testo Gel for just over 1 year now; as many who use this will know, the instructions tell you to apply to shoulders & arms and instructs you to "Avoid" chest area ---WHY ???

I apply 2 sachets per day, one sachet over shoulders & arms, the other around hips and upper thighs, I shave upper thighs to ensure no hair when applying.

I have from time to time applied excess gel to chest as well as stomach, all locations seem to absorb and work well.

where is best to apply

I used 4 pumps a day before switching to inj, one each to shoulders down onto my biceps and then 1 pump each in the area under my arms down to my waist, or I would use my inner thighs sometimes too.

Certain places were designated to reduce chance of transfer I would guess. With the study Dr. Crisler always jokes about where man and woman rub together for 15 minutes and the woman's T was elevated but still in normal range would make it seem that it is not a problem.

great point, I didn't have a transfer issue the time I was using it so I didn't really ever even give that a thought.

There is also the issue of where the topical was applied during the testing process. Manufacturers can only present directions that can be backed up by research. So, if topical was applied to part A, part B, and part C, it can be reported. Failure to discuss part D doesn't *necessarily* mean it will be less effective if applied there; it may simply not have been tested.

Thanks for these links;
It was good to read up on applying sunscreen as I used to wait around 4 hours before doing this
Effect of sunscreen or moisturizing lotion on absorption of testosterone
I now know I can apply testo gel around 06:30 (usual time for me) then apply sun lotion around 9am which will give sun protection but also aid absorption.

I still tend to shave around shoulders and any body part in shower prior to administering and feel a gentle sting as I apply, seems to work for me.
