Do you have a home montitor and have you done multiple readings at a time to see the fluctuation? What have you tried to bring it down?

Have you had tinnitus for years? Or only since taking Valsartan? (not heard of that being a side effect from that medication)

I find potassium supplementation to be step one for BP. Contrary to popular belief, low salt can also cause high BP in some people. Cold temperatures can also cause a seasonal rise. It seems like trying other meds like telmisartan or possibly an ACEi is worth a try since tinnitus can be debilitating in itself and there are a variety of options.

Agreed. For me low salt spiked BP badly when I was experimenting but 9g/day kept it nice and low. Plenty of cardio and eating right ofc. Aand gotta warch the carbs/starch, and find optimal amount, thats for sure. Potassium and I'd say multi-spectrum vitamin-E would be also very beneficial or just eating seeds if one can tolerate. And ofc Magnesium would be there too if/most likely low. I have tinnitus for decades and it fucking sucks to be fair but IIWII. But TBH HBP its all about the context so it can be anything and everything. If you holding lots of muscle mass maybe its time to start trimming down because we are not ment to be huge and jacked. Stress management crucial too. Basically gotta tick all the boxes to see whats working whats not. 44yrs traning and a pro- respect, keep going, you'll figure this out! Best of luck

Thanks, frustrating when nothing changes in your life except turning 65 and your BP is suddenly high.
