Founder, ExcelMale.com
I am glad to announce an upcoming contributor to ExcelMale.com. This man is not only super smart and a nutrition guru but also able to digest complex information into simple terms for lay people.
Jerry Brainum has been involved in health and fitness for over 52 years. He started out as a competitive swimmer, then competed in bodybuilding contests on both the East and West coasts. Along the way, he trained with such luminaries as Arnold Schwarzenegger and helped get Lou Ferrigno started in bodybuilding. From a professional standpoint, Jerry has written for over 30 international publications, and has been quoted in various media sources, such as the New York Times, and others. He has had over 5,000 articles published in the past 35 years, and was the science editor of Muscle and Fitness magazine for 10 years, along with editor-at-large at Flex magazine for 8 years. He also wrote for Ironman magazine for 28 years.
Besides his writing, Jerry has been a sought-after nutritional consultant for many world-class, elite athletes. He has worked with 12 professional boxing champions, and was Oscar De La Hoya's nutrition consultant for three years. Every fighter that Jerry advised was undefeated while Jerry worked with them.
Jerry is currently writing his Applied Metabolics Newsletter, which contains content on nutrition, food supplements, anti-aging, ergogenic aids, exercise science, hormone replacement therapy, and preventive medicine. The newsletter is available at: www.appliedmetabolics.com. Jerry also has an e-book available, Natural Anabolics, at www.jerrybrainum.com.
Help me welcome Jerry!
