Vial Punctures with Daily/EOD injections

Quick question for those of you who are on a frequent (daily/EOD) injection schedule. Are there any issues with puncturing the rubber vial top so many times, or is it a non-issue?

Do any of you have experience with low daily/EOD doses and a 10ml vial? Still no issues with so many punctures?

As long as you are not using an 18-22 gauge to draw before switching needles to inject than there should be no issue.

Otherwise an 18-22 gauge puncturing the neoprene rubber frequently can increase the chances of small chunks of the neoprene in the oily solution let alone hacking the top up so bad air is more prone to seeping through.

Thanks, madman. I draw and inject with 28 gauge.

I've been on a daily for over two and a half years now, never had any issues with the vial. I used 27g and 29g syringes.

I may not want to puncture a 10mL vial everyday...I use ..07mL (14mg) a day and a 5mL vial projects out to lasting me 60+days so I don't know about 120 punctures and how good that would be but I have no problems with a 5mL.

Through you guys and personal experience I now know that 5ml vials are gtg.

Anybody dose daily or EOD and have experience using 10ml vials? Any issues with all of the punctures?

Still curious about that.

Defy won't sell a 10ml on that kind of injection schedule if that tells you something, they'll only let me go 5mL at a time. But that does have something to do with "opening" that vial for that long of a time whether the rubber stopper will take that many punctures is a secondary concern.

Maybe pushing my luck, but I have a 10 mL vial of T enanthate that I've drawn from around 200 times with 31-gauge needles. If it's a concern then it's a simple matter to split up the contents into one or more additional sterile vials. I did that with my progesterone because the ethyl oleate carrier can attack butyl stoppers when given enough time.
