Low-fat vegan diet group lost 6 kg in 4 months. Sounds impressive, but there's no mention of body composition. If you've lost weight with a vegan diet, as I have, you already know what the catch was: mostly lean mass lost.

Agree, however, it is possible to do high protein vegan diet....
For me the interesting point are the AGEs and the fact that there are more and more quality studies on nutrition, e.g. also on brain-gut-microbiome connection.

It seems to me that the combination of meat proteins and plant carbs, especially sugar, causes most of the unhealthy compounds.
Looking forward to quality carnivore, keto studies.
