So last week I posted about my results and what to expect from my Doc. My initial lab work was as follows.
.
Testosterone, Serum or Plasma Quantitative - 447ng/dl____Reference Range: 348-1197 Testosterone Free, Serum or Plasma Quantitative Direct - 7.0pg/mL ____Reference Range: 8.7-25.1
.
.
My latest results are now:
Testosterone, Serum or Plasma Quantitative - 538ng/dl____Reference Range: 348-1197 Testosterone Free, Serum or Plasma Quantitative Direct - 17.0pg/mL ____Reference Range: 8.7-25.1
.
.
My Free T has over doubled its first reading and my total is also up.

I have done nothing whatsoever differently other than I have been jogging more lately.

What would cause such a jump in the results? Is that normal for T to do that so drastically?
I really don't feel much different than before. (maybe a little) but not much. The results are about 5 months apart.

You're not on a TRT protocol?

No, Nothing.

A year ago My total Testosterone was at 310.
Then it went to 447
Now it is at 538.
.
A Year ago My free Testosterone was at 13
Then it went to 7.0
Now it is 17.
.
I don't know what causes such dramatic changes. Small changes I can see, but to more than double my free test has me confused.

What other tests did your doctor run? SHBG?

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
