Uneasy, anxious feeling after switching TRT sources

Hey guys,

Been on TRT for nearly 8 years now thru a local clinic, at a dose of .4ml cypionate 1x weekly, never really any issues minus the first couple weeks. Which I understand spitting doses provides a more stable level.

Recently I switched from a local clinic to trtnation so I could maintain home administration without going in weekly. After administering the new source of cypionate it seemed to cause the feeling of being overstimulated and anxious with a little higher BP average 133/90-95
Symptoms subside 1 to 2 days post injection and BP drops 125/85

My profile:
43 years of age
5’10 188lbs
20 year gym vet 5 days a week, lean muscle mass at 12% body fat
Cardio achieved via drop and super sets
Bad habits: nicotine pouches, reduced coffee to once a day
Diet:
Fast food less than twice a week. Primarily nuts, oatmeal, protein shakes, chicken, eggs, almond butter galore, olive oil, pumpkin and chia seeds.
D3, Magnesium, probiotic, zinc, C

My next move is to split the dose, just curious on thoughts if I should do that or lower the dose and split?

In addition, does anyone know what causes this reaction, seen numerous threads on this. I’ve crashed my e2 before and know that can cause dramatic anxiety. But this doesn’t seem to be the case, obviously I won’t know without the lab data. This always makes me nervous about the next injection. I just switched so would suspect my body to adapt and recalibrate itself…

Could a change in the base oils cause this?

Bodybuilders for years have been saying enanthate causes less fluid retention when compared to cypionate. Basically more fluid retention equals higher blood pressure.

I would switch to enanthate if I were you!

was this consistent or sorta would come and go? after meals? did anything resolve the anxiety? or was for first 1-2 days and go away?

have you been sick in previous 3 months? particularly viral ie cough?

will be interesting how your bloods come back.

I think it would be strange for it to be RIGHT AFTER injection and that cause water retention that systemlord mentioned.

is it compounded cyp? some folks get reaction to MCT for example.

Funny you mention virus, I had been sick but this has happened before with the changing of another provider. It happens more so 8 hours post injection, morning I’d inject then experience occur in the evening.

The anxiety and symptoms do seem to resolve a day or 2 post injection. The pharma they use is a compound pharma… here’s a thread on it https://www.reddit.com/r/trt/s/JWLvnH4d7f

Reduced my last injection to .3 70mg will do another in 3 days... totaling 140 a week

Less sides so far, BP was a little high but most likely related to work stress
