For years, Been taking test cypt for trt..

Decided it was time to start hcg... Hoping it would help with sensation and libido... And bring the balls back to normal.

I got amps that are 5000iu...
And first week I did the whole 5000iu..
Now I'm regretting it... Cause I see all the dosages for 500-1000 a week.

My question is...
How long should I wait for another hcg injection since I did 5000iu for my first?

Thanks.... In advance to anyone that can help me out.

Probably over stimulate your LH. Some people also do it x3/week, 1 week on, 3 weeks off but never more than 500iu per dose. You could start as low as 200iu and see how it goes.

Initiate whatever hCG protocol you want right away without waiting. The single 5000 iu dose you took is already metabolized. No harm, it's a fertility dose. 200 to 500 iu twice or three times weekly is a maintenance dose. If you've been on TRT for a long time then it is likely that it will be many weeks on hCG before you begin to see a response no mater the dose. A commonly cited "hCG rule" is "increase frequency not dose". With hCG patience is key as your Leydig cells gradually respond over time. LH receptors throughout your CNS are also activated which is why you may feel certain beneficial effects right away. hCG acts as an analogue to Luteinizing hormone. It depresses LH production. It does not "over-stimulate LH". After several months use you should become self-aware of the lowest dose and frequency that yield optimal results and also the symptoms of excess which typically are puffiness , water retention and high E2.
