Anyone else experience headaches when first starting treatment?

This is the start of my second week of 132mg of testosterone split into 3 separate dosages on Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 600iu of hcg split into 3 separate dosages on the same day as my testosterone, 30mg dhea nightly, 100mg of 5htp nightly, 5000iu of vit d3 nightly, and 3mg of melatonin nightly and I've noticed since starting last week that I've been getting headaches. Headaches aren't something I normally get and I noticed it the as soon as I started my regiment. I upped my water intake hoping that would help but hasn't. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks

A lot of men including myself got the testosterone flu when first starting TRT. When I first starting TRT the sick feeling only lasted a few weeks.

I belive i got got the test flu as well. It's happened every time I've been on trt (LONG story why I've been on and off). I just never remeber having headaches everyday when on trt. Hopefully it will subside like how you said. Thank you Vince!

I'm just wondering why at times have you stopped TRT.

I had headaches that started in the third month of treatment that lasted for 3 weeks, headache medication did nothing. It was a caffeine headache which I never had before TRT, once your body adapts to TRT the headaches should subside. It all depend how long it takes your body to adapt, some it can take longer. I just increased my dosage 25mg (75mg-100mg 2xwk) and get a very slight headache, I'll assume this will happen any time I increase my dosage.

I was put on it by a holistic doctor that felt with bioidentical hormones. He was very very expensive. I spent close to 10k in a year with him. So about half way through money fell short and I had good insurance so I decided to try out an endocrinologist. He took me off it to get w baseline reading for 6 weeks and then said I didn't need it. So I went back to the original holistic doctor and he put me back on it. (I made ends meet anyway I could) and then with him my estrogen got outta control and arimdex made me sick and they didn't know what else to do and pretty much told me were out of options and sent me on my way. I got testosterone my self and was trying to figure thing outs my self and stuck with 150mg weekly but still never felt good. And it was illegal and I thought, well maybe trt is what I need and saw one more endo who I read very good things about. I was completely honest with him and said what I was doing was very dangerous and told me I need to stop. I said cold turkey?! And he said yes. Again so he could get a baseline blood work. So I was off again for 3 months, got blood work (which is the same blood work I sent to defy) and the endo said I'm fine other then a low sperm count. And sent me on my way. That same blood work, defy medical put me on testosterone, hcg, dhea, 5htp, vit d3 and melatonin. Also said I have very low igf1, more then likely my adrenals are not function optimally. So on my next blood work we are adding a 4 point cortisol saliva test, testing my dht conversion as well and acth and igf1. And he said he wanted to follow up in 2 months instead of 3 since I have a lot more going on the justin testosterone related things.

-132mg of testosterone split into 3 separate dosages on Monday/Wednesday/Friday,
-600iu of hcg split into 3 separate dosages on the same day as my testosterone,
-30mg dhea nightly,
-100mg of 5htp nightly,
-5000iu of vit d3 nightly,
-3mg of melatonin nightly

That's a lot to consider.

I Started DHEA and had headaches. Turns out it had added maltodextrin which i have problems with, I changed brands and headache is gone.

It may not be as simple as waiting if there's something in the particular meds and supplements you are taking that is problematic to your particular sensitivities.

BTW, seems like a good plan from Defy. You have had an awful lot of changes between all your care givers that seem to have led to instability rather than stability with any one protocol.

Yea I agree. I feel like with defy I'm at least on the right track and won't have to second guess everything. I'm going to be getting a massage and I'm thinking my constant headache might be just a tension headache.
