TRT Therapy Breakouts

I take TRT because of Primary Hypogondism. I started out with Androgel and I liked it but it kept me around a level of 400 and kept my weight steady, with no loss or gain and muscle mass meh. Than I switched to injections when I would get .5 every 3 weeks and my doctor got me to about 500 again with no loss or gain in weight. I hated the fact I couldn’t do the injections myself and going to the clinic was simply a hassle so I switched to Axiron and my levels went up to 600-700 and I even lost weight. My mood was great, I didn’t have any symptoms of depression or anxiety and I started to get in shape. Than I moved to Florida and my new insurance no longer covered Axiron so I found a doctor that insisted on injections and agreed I could take them home and give myself .9 every Monday. After about 3 months of these injections I start to break out insanely bad to include my back, arms and my buttocks. I’ve tried everything from topical creams to prescribed body wash to anti-meds, NOTHING works. All my levels are great! All my blood levels come back consistent and within correct range.

Will anything help? Or am I better off going back to androgel which is covered under my insurance and hoping the acne clears up?

Recommendations and input is greatly appreciated. Also I am 30 years old, I have been on these injections for about 11 months now. My current test levels are at about 1100.

If you are taking whey protein and creatine, I would stop them to see if acne improves.

I would take a shower after working out also.

The fact that you have acne with injections may be a bad thing for you but it actually shows that your DHT may have actually gone up, which is not a bad thing.
