TRT & sex drive

The doc said if I ever wanted to stop I just needed to run hCG for a couple weeks and that was it.

Yeah that'll stimulate the testes, but doesn't address the H or P part of the HPTA which is needed to get back online to signal the testes to produce testosterone. Not to mention the risk that it doesn't bring back your previous testosterone levels.

The longer you're on, the bigger the risk.

Do I need to do a PCT?

Basically that's what you'll do. For the exact drugs and doses, that I can't help you with. I'd recommend a qualified physician to consult for this.

I'd love to maintain natural levels of 700 and 36 E2. I'm honestly not that far from that even on TRT! 914 total and 29 E2 as my trough. A bit different if you consider area under the curve, but not having to inject and take medication would be awesome!

I don't know why the doc wants the E2 between 15-20?

Hormones are not one size fits all. So while guy A may feel great there, you may feel terrible. Numbers matter less than how you feel, assuming it's not a ridiculous number or one that is associated with negative health consequences.

Let me ask you this, do you feel better at 20 in october, or 36 in july?

ocman,

I would seriously consider going with Defy and have them help you with a PCT, as you can at least get back to they way you were before TRT...I think you said sex drive was great correct before TRT?

If so, you can try clomid to help reset everything. I think HCG stimulates the testies to produce more T but does not reset your system to produce T on its own. Either way Defy can set you up and it is very inexpensive.

I had my TSH checked.

OK, I see that in your labs now. Your TSH is too high and you free T4 and free T3 are both in the lower half of the reference ranges. This is indicative of subclinical hypothyroidism. See if you can get your doc to prescribe some NDT.
