TRT for Elderly (80 years & up)

I am sorry I didn’t respond to your question. I think it was about 900 TT and 24 E2 back in November. My urologist left the practice and his replacement suggested I increase my anastrozole and it really screwed things up, my orgasms became more difficult to achieve to the point they were nonexistent. I back off the anastrozole completely, but without a blood test I was flying blind. I am still trying to get my groove back. I finally got the orgasms back, I have a blood test next week and a appointment with the Doctor in two weeks.

Just curious...does anyone know men over the age of 80 that is on TRT? If so, are they still functioning ok with self adminsutration of the regiment? I sometimes worry about being on TRT at that age and possibly have to deal with forgetfulness, driving, etc. Also, things like donating blood and mixing up HCG properly could become additional challenges once the very senior years hit.

I'm asking because I've had the misfortune of seeing some very elderly men in a nursing home and couldn't help to wonder about some "what ifs"

I found a thread by Nelson that talks about 65 plus but there is also a reference to "...but older men may need more surveillance" which was kind of the closest I got when doing a search on this issue.
Elderly men over 65 years of age benefit as much from testosterone as young men
I am going to be 94 in January, changed my protocol a bit, I inject testosterone just once a week, one ml ampule, 250 strength per ampule, it is a little high, but I figured at my age I need a little extra boost. I still exercise, daily, both weights and aerobics. I have been making carrot juice for 45 years, and just recently I started eating the pulp, that I highly recommend. I also inject hcg twice a week and a half mg of anastrazole 3 times per week, my e2 is about 20. BTW, my weight is about the same as I was in high school, 145 pounds. Still sexually active.
