TRT and thyroid

I have read in several thyroid books that if you take thyroid med and you take testosterone you may have to lower your thyroid medication because it lowers thyroid binding protein thus increase the effect of the thyroid hormone. Comments?

Since I've been on testosterone, my TSH has increased. The rest of my thyroid panel has remained good.
