labs are to be drawn between certain hours to insure testosterone is at its peak.thats assuming the average person sleeps from 10 pm to 6 am and bllods drawn at 8 am.but what is a person sleeps from 8pm to 3am and get bloods drawn at 9am wouldnt that be the same as person #1 having bloods drawn at noon.i ask cause i get up at 3am everyday and got my labs between 9-10 though i been up for 7 hours and my testosterone was 30% lower this year from last 740-495

Have you maintained the schedule you noted during the time you are on TRT? What is your protocol? Specifically, what time do you administer your testosterone?

wrong; T testing is always done in a trough, the lowest point between applications; right before the next application.

What you describe, morning blood draws, is the norm when testing to diagnose low testosterone - before the start of therapy.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
