Thigh pain 4 days after injection

I have experienced slight pain in my thigh from previous injections. However; this time it is pretty painful. I can not run and it hurts to bend my leg. There are some visible signs of swelling, but not much. It is not red or bruised and very tender to the touch. It even seems a bit hard, almost like I'm flexing my muscle.

Does anyone have experience with that? Could I have done permanent damage?

This has been going on for a week for me. It’s eased up today just a bit. I’m having trouble putting pants and shoes on. Anyone have any guidance?
