Does shaking it prior to injection cause loss of potency of vial ?

Clayboy, I don't shake my vial, but I don't see why it would make a difference. I do understand you're just trying to mix it.

I wouldn't think it would hurt it but you will probably get air bubbles in the oil if you shake it. Air in the oil means inaccurate dosing as the air takes up space that the oil would be in otherwise.

If you feel the need to mix it, its not necessary, but I would suggest rolling it between your hands vs shaking
