Testogel to Cream

Hi everyone,

Long story short.. on propecia for 10yrs, got the dreaded side effects... off 11yrs, still have them. Tried testogel last 3 months, actually responded very well in numbers. Went from low mid to upper TT FT. DHT didn't budge, actually dropped a few points. It sits on the bottom range line.

Ditched the doctor went to trubalance (I'm in Ontario and highly recommend) have been prescribed 60mg of transdermal cream versa base. When talking with provider told her I was going to with scrotal app, but, I'm going to tell her I changed my mind. With this propecia crap I'm worried about going way above dht range and crashing. So I'm going to go with arm application and see where my levels are first.

I don't know the concentration of cream, but, I think it must be the 20% because I'm getting preloaded syringes with .3ml in each.

I wouldn't think this dose is not high enough to raise my dht over range, is it?

if it’s 20% cream at about 50 mg and is applied to the scrotum, then yes it will most likely put you above upper dht reference range. I have no idea how the testogel raised your total and free t, but didn’t increase your dht, that makes zero sense to me. Also considering the 5 ar enzymes found in skin tissue. Did you have multiple dht tests done, that seriously doesn’t make sense that, maybe injections could leave dht unchanged, but transdermal that significantly raises total and free t leaving dht unchanged or worse is highly unlikely I would imagine. With that being said, everyone is unique to their response to drugs

I actually think lower concentration transdermals can raise dht higher if both are applied non scrotally, because of local 5 ar saturation. Just a thought, but I’m from from being a fountain of hormone knowledge. Hope some of the smart fellers on here chime in, good luck brutha

Thanks, man. I decided to put it on my inner thigh. I'll see how it goes. Today is my 2nd application. If I don't see any change in 3 weeks or so, I may have to change something.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
