Test & hcg

Hoping someone can help me out here, i just added hcg to my protocal at 500iu twice a week, i'm only on my 3rd injection and from the first shot i could tell i was getting typical sides of high E. Very oily skin, my hair is oily and overall can feel it's definitely spiked E.

I'm on 80mg test e twice a week
hcg 500iu twice a week ( just started 1 week and half ago.)
.25mg Arimidex. twice a week

I've been Test for several years and recently connect with Defy medical and while i know i should filter these questions do the docs there, they are closed and i was just curious on feedback from others that have gone through this. I'm scheduled for my next dosing today ,but honestly reluctant to take the hcg since i don't want to E to continue to spike.

I guess the first question should be, are your testicle larger. Do you feel like the HCG is working. What was your old protocol.

old protocol that I've been doing for years was just 150-200mg test E and arimidex i would take from time to time, never consistently, but over the years I've realized i probably need to take small dose based on labs. I'm only on second week of using HCG, so today was going to be my 3rd injection of 500iu, but since the first one my skin has been very oily and only minor change in testies...but i'd imagine it may be too soon to see results?

Maybe i need to take more arimidex to counter the E spike - no idea.

You're still not telling us very much, what is your current protocol. Are you just self-medicating and never had labs done.

my protocol is in my original post. That is what i'm doing at the moment and mentioned i'm working with Defy medical so i am under doctors guidance. I've done labs over the years, and have alwasy just taking test e alone at 175-200mg a week, and years of not taking any hcg, i've experienced a good amount of atrophy in testies. Doctor gave hcg, and as i mentioned i'm 1.5 weeks in and getting high estro sides and not sure if i should continue or maybe take larger dose of Arimidex.

I'm aware these questions need to go to doctor, but figured i'd get some input from people on the board that may have gone through this.. i will be contacting doctor on Monday to get his input

Oily skin and hair has more to do with increased sebum production by the sebaceous(oil glands) due to increased dht not estrogen.

The hcg use may very well have spiked your testosterone hence higher dht.

You need to have blood work done and test e2 (sensitive assay) to see where your estradiol sits and would be good to look at total/free t and dht.

Thanks for the post, great point and I noticed out of now where i've been shedding a lot of hair lately. What does this mean, HCG is not a good fit for me, or do i need to be taking something else instead? You nailed it.

Yeah, i just had labs before i started about a month ago. I wonder if they will let me take them again this soon or ask that i stay on protocol for longer duration of time. Maybe i need to lower the dose of HCG.
