Was seeing Dr C but he's left Defy. He put me on HCG mono for restart attempt. 150IU daily. Not taking anything else. At this point I have no guidance until I see Saya in a few weeks. Not sure if I should just have a consult with a nurse which would be faster.
I feel like crap. Low feeling of well-being, joint pain/tingles, etc.

If the wait is several weeks, I would at least consider consulting with Nurse Jill. She is very good.
Dr. C has left Defy?? What?? This is the first I've heard of this.
This is true. Dr Crisler is no longer working for or affiliated with Defy/myself. He will remain a friend and ally in the space, and we wish him the best. We've actually sent out two group emails to active patients including an announcement of the change (Labor Day email and the email announcing new staff RN and PA). In addition to Jill and Melissa (my new PA), I'm actively training other providers as we speak.
What's your FSH? With LH that low it's not working for you or not a high enough dose. Your E is also very low which will aka you feel like crud. Hopefully your are not taking an AI and if you are, stop.
Assist101 - prior to your consult I would increase your HCG to 300iu daily (150iu daily is conservative/low for HCG monotherapy). Any increase in E from this would be welcome given how low your E2 is. Are you currently on anastrozole?
As noted, if you need/want a consult more quickly, Jill or my PA (Melissa) can get you in.
I just re-read the Defy newsletter...guess I must have skipped over the part about Dr. C leaving Defy. I must have been staring at the pictures of Melissa and Damaris, and wondering why I never had a nurse or PA in my lifetime that looked like that!
Exciting times ahead for Defy Medical. Increased medical staff, expanded hours, Saturdays...don't work too hard Dr. Saya!
