Started today...How does this sound?

Yes I had to cut my diabetes meds in half when I went on TRT. Actually it was 10 days into TRT when I started having low blood sugar incidents. I was happy to cut down on the diabetes meds!

My fasting glucose went from 180-200 on 4 pills per day before TRT to 110 - 120 on 2 pills per day after TRT. It is possible that additional benefits will accrue after a longer period of maintaining good T levels.

That's insane. I imagine you check your blood sugar at home? Did you have any low blood sugar episodes?

Yes I check them at home every morning and sometimes later in the day if need be.

When first starting TRT the low sugar incidents happened in the late afternoon after having only very light lunches. Got a bit light-headed, weak, and shaky. I knew from experience what was going on and confirmed it with a quick glucose test.

After cutting my diabetes meds in half there were no more low sugar incidents.

Congratulations - that's remarkable. I experienced a reduction in my c-reactivate protein level and, following that, a significant improvement in my colitis as my protocol progressed. But you have the best report I've seen.
