SSRI's: a Possible Cause of My Low T?

Besides SSRI's causing sexual dysfunction i.e ED, no libido, has it ever caused genitial numbess for you guys, and if yes, did everything return to normal after stopping them.

Anyone have same issues using, Diazepam or Zanax

I am starting to wonder did the ED, Libido loss and numbness that came from SSRI's have a further knockon effect and contributed or was the cause of my low T

Are you still using SSRIs, as you know the side effects can be strong and withdrawal symptoms can be physical or psychological.

I was on Paxil which is an ssri for almost 3 years for OCD and depression ,it definitely caused serious numbness,I believe it's prescribed off label to treat premature ejaculation because of this side effect

Yes it did, but I had to slowly taper off it under the guidance of my doctor, that's the most important aspect of it, medical supervision, can't stress that enough.
I'm on trt now, at just 36 years old, don't know if the ssri caused my low testosterone, don't think there is evidence of that, but the only time I get any numbness now is if my estradiol gets low

I was on Klonopin for 28 years (15-45) and spent a year tapering off 2015-2016, I wonder if that was the cause of my low T. I was fine before tapering off, no sexual issues and had great energy. A year later my testosterone was 119 ng/dL, don't have any clue what it was before. Withdrawing off the Klonopin was the hardest thing I've ever done! Perhaps I'm about to feel a sex drive I've never had the pleasure of before since I starting taking Klonopin when I was 15 years old, to say I'll feel 15 again doesn't compute.

Lexapro is very hard to get off. I was on Lexapro for years and when I decided to quit it was awful. I even went through convulsions for a while. It felt horrible. I was on more than just Lexapro at the time i quit.

Thank god that is over
