Scrotal Pregnenolone/DHEA to raise androgen levels

I'm not sure this has ever discussed here, but I found some very interesting data posted and commented by Georgi Dinkov AKA Haidut on the RayPeat forum, how applying Pregnenolone and DHEA (in DSMO) on the scrotum, can raise serum androgens like T DHT and Androsterone, this because directly effects the lyding cells. Some studies showed this increased more androgen than using HCG itself.

Some studies show up to 20 to 30% of whatever amount of Pregnenolone was applied to the scrotum, converting into Testosterone. Studies are mixed humans and animals, but I really had not idea such a studies were out there either!

If you feel reading the first post on the thread below, let me know what you think

Again, is there an actual study in humans, not speculations based on in vitro studies or 20+ pages of broscience gibberish?

At your level of intelect, you should already know that in vitro studies and biochemical speculations often do not translate in vivo and that difference should be emphasized when reporting.

The alleged increase of testosterone on oral DHEA was debunked long time ago - it doesn't convert to testosterone in males. Where is the human in vivo study showing that scrotal application will be any different?

Not much of my intellect, really.

You are bringing up good points. Though, oral steroids like DHEA and Pregnenolone, when going through the first pass metabolism get converted into different metabolites, I wouldn’t be surprised if scrotal application of the same steroids would produce a different outcome

What do you think about the human study that is attached to the post?

So now you are an endo specialist?

I had a cream years ago that as I recall was using on the scrotum might have been only DHEA but it wasn't long before I came to the realization I had almost severe negative side effect, i.e., rage and anger issues. I stay way far away from DHEA now, in any dose. I always presumed it was spiking my Estrogen which I do easily convert, and am likewise very sensitive to it (E). The side effect seemed to also be with oral admin, too.
