I'm looking at defy medical and Potomac rejuvenation center in Washington dc.

Im basically trying to adjust my expenses so I'm looking for what people are paying on average for defy medical or the other place if anyone has experience with them.

Any help is appreciated.

A little history. I'm 40. I workout 3 days a week in the gym and 4 days a week doing BJJ. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea 3 years ago and I use a cpap. My machine goes from 4-20. My level is on 6 so it's mild.
In 2010 I had my total testosterone checked and it was at 619. All my other labs were normal within range.

In 2013 I got it checked again. This time my TT was 320. My vitamin D was low. So I begin taking 10,000 ius of vitamin D. In 2014 at a physical I got it checked again. This time it came back at 407. I upped the vitamin D by 5,000 ius.

Of of course the 2013 and 2014 were from different doctors and both said I'm within normal ranges. So this is why im looking elsewhere.
My thyroid and pituitary tests were normal. My iron was one point under normal ranges. It was a 59 on a scale of 60-?(I forget the upper limit)
so that's my story. Any questions please ask.

oh. I should add. I have no other symptoms of low t other than my recovery period after exercise is longer, but I susp that's a product of age and the amount of training.

Walril, I live in Wisconsin and use Defy Medical. It would have been nice to find a doctor close to home but I had no luck in finding one. Dr. Saya is so much more knowledgeable then the other doctors I talked to in Wisconsin. But because Defy is out of my insurance network, my insurance will only pay 60%.

I utilize Defy and have been very happy with them. The expense varies depending on if your appointments are with a nurse or the doctor. The first appointment is with the doctor and the follow ups are up to you if you want the nurse or the doctor. And because they don't file insurance, their prices are very reasonable. To me, it's well worth the expense for a much improved quality of life. Give Defy a call and check them out.

I'm from Puerto Rico and I use Defy medical. I don't use my medical insurance but prices are ok. When you start the blood work are more often but once you have that balance with your doses on the therapy blood work will be every 6 months. Call defy medical and they will let you know how much it will cost you. They are very professional and responsible. For me I feel lucky that I found them. Btw Nelson Vergel recommended to me after I looked for a Dr. In PR without any succeed.

There are ways to limit your expenses like ordering your needles through an online medical supply company versus through the pharmacy. There is a thread on this site for that as well. Also, today was my birthday and I received an email from Defy giving me a $25 credit that I was able to apply to my T-cyp refill. All of these little things add up for those of us who have to pay out of pocket for treatment and to me, for my health, it's worth every penny.
