Question for those that have Titrated their T cyp in hopes of finding the best dose.

In my TRT journey I have been stable (steady state) at TT630 FT 18(Testin Gel), TT 350 FT 11(Compounded Cream), TT1175 FT35 (T cyp).
I want to titrate my dose down to the minimum required for maximum benefit.

When you titrated your T dose did you use libido or energy lvl, or ?what? to determine how much is best for you?

I used a combination of how I felt and the labs. I started at 200mg/week and worked my way down to 100mg/week. I feel great at this amount. My labs are also good.

Thanks Nashtide. 150/wk got me to 1175/35 in 8 wks so I don't think I need to go any higher. I was taking .25 M/W/F and I think I'll try .20 and do TT FT E2 HCT in 6-8 weeks.

What was your E2? My success depends much more on my E2 than my T numbers. My concern with having really high T levels is HCT. I keep my TT in the mid 800's. My FT tends to run high.

E2 sens 28.9 pg/mL 8.0 - 35.0
My Free T is also pretty easy to get up there with an SHGB of 24.2

Do not work yourself up too much over this.

Lower your dosage slightly 140 mg/week (70mg every 3.5 days) and give it 6-8 weeks and gauge how you feel during this time than get blood work done and see where
your total t/free t/estradiol (sensitive assay) and of course hematocrit/hemoglobin and decide from there on your next move.

Mind you do understand that even though your new levels will stabilize in 6-8 weeks it can take a few months at new dose to truly gauge how it effects you physically/mentally overall as not everything is so quick to change.

Sure certain blood markers will change fairly quickly whether one increases/lowers dose but as far as low t symptoms some take time to pan out.

Libido is very tricky as you know many things other than testosterone can effect ones libido (positively/negatively).

You may very well be one whom ends up feeling better with testosterone levels in the 600-800 ng/dl range with free t in a healthy range as oppose to high and of course along with having your estradiol in a healthy range along with other blood markers.

So many individuals in the trt game whether lowering or increasing dose when switching protocols expect that after 6-8 weeks that things should be fixed and thats how one feels at that specific dose and testosterone levels.

When in reality your body is in flux during the time leading up to the 6 week mark and sure they may notice positive or negative effects regarding their low t symptoms during the 6 -8 weeks but once testosterone levels are stabilized the body still needs time at those new testosterone levels to truly gauge how one feels physically/mentally.

Too many people switch protocols every 6 weeks and wonder why they are always chasing their tales.

I would say lower your dose slightly and go from there.

You could very well end up on 60 mg every 3.5 days or possibly even 50 mg every 3.5 days, only time will tell.

Thanks Madman, I hear you, don't change up the protocol too often.
Just because you are at a steady state you just got there in 40 days. This is not much time at that lvl for healing to begin.

Even before I got my blood test back I could tell my TT was too high. I developed anxiety with no trigger.
I would wake up between 3-4 am to pee and be so well rested I could not go back to sleep. My libido went from none to wanting sex 3 hours after having sex. It was not fun.

As soon as I received my blood test results I skipped Mondays shot and went to .20 on Wed. I am feeling much better now with libido at every 3 days.
I hope to stay here for several if not at least 3 months if my doc allows it.

I did not start TRT for libido but it looks like what I have to use to gauge my dose. More so than E2 or HCT.

What I notice in this post is that you are aware of your body and how it responds to your protocol without obsessive worrying. That is more than half the battle.
