Well, Dr. Saya is widely regarded as good. I am going to bring the low sbgh up when I speak with him about prolactin this week.

How are you lipids, blood pressure and blood sugar? It is well documented that men with low SHBG have a high probability of diabetes and other metabolic syndromes. IMO, I don't think 14.8 is high for prolactin. It's at the top of the range and I doubt it's the culprit but… it may be as everyone is different

In my experience, Oxytocin has worked well for me to reduce prolactin to mid-range levels, when slightly elevated but in range.

fasting sugar was 88, all my cholesterol was perfect, Blood pressure right on the money, weight is good, I have been taking oxytocin to try and raise my libido, no luck there.

Only stuff out of wack other than mentioned is creatine and uric acid are high, and I have a low amount of crop, .25 where I read there should be none..

Where is your Oxytocin from and what's the prescribed dose?

Are you on any other medications?

Do you have or have you had any anxiety or depression?

Oxy was from aos through defy. Nasal. 1 spray in each nostril a day. For about 5 years I have been on tramadol er 200 mg a day for muscle pain, and for anxiety I take to 2 mg per day of klonopin. Some days none. Neither have ever effect Ed my sex drive. I was good till about a month on trt, then it backed off, then 3 months ago it took a severe nosedive along with section trouble.

I have not gotten any explanation n the uric acid from my Dr. Just received a copy of labs that were signed off on. I have a call in. Yes, I was put on axiron at a level of 300 total t. For the first month I was a new man. Everything was great. Then a month in, it all left. Dr checked levels, down to 130. So she gave up. I went through Dr hell till finding a clinic 2 hours from here. They put me on hcg, t shots, levels came up but energy stayed down. Libido was good, but about 3 months ago it tanked. Dr could no figure it out so I signed up with defy. I do have low cortisol levels, but cannot take anything. If I do, I cramp up. Even with elelectrlytes in check. They do have me on dhea and pregnenolone, which brought up my low dhea s levels. Defy just called, my dht was 205 Dr says thought low dht was the trouble with libido, so I guess he was mistaken.

Do you happen to have a set labs from when you were feeling like a new man? It would be very beneficial to correlate your feelings with the clinical data. Also when your TT was 130 did your physician run any additional labs besides TT?

Last but not least, I would follow up and investigate the uric acid with your primary care physician.

I wish I had, but since that was my first month, nobody saw the need for labs. No other labs were done when it was found that my t had dropped so low. Thanks for your help, when defy called, she said that Dr. Saya would address the uric acid acid well. I imagine dht that high could effect libido, top of the range was 85. I was 205. Just sick of this mess, somebody should be able to figure it out.

Talked about an hour with dr. Saya today. He did not think the prolactin was high enough to cause trouble, but gave me the choice of taking cabergoline and see if symptoms improved. From my reading, it's too high. So I picked up the caber in town, 20 bucks a pill. Thankfully only need 4 a month. Boy, sure would be nice if one get get insurance in this country. Hopefully it brings me back around.

I hope it works for you just make sure you are monitoring your prolactin levels. You do not want to drive it to low. Low prolactin can compromise immune function.

I do believe today has been the best day as far as how I feel in years. I do believe prolactin was holding me back. Can being on trt raise prolactin levels? Even my junk hung better today. Let's hope this keeps up.
