OSA and Snoring on TRT

I've never snored or had any signs of OSA. Since being on TRT I am now a significant snorer and have OSA (body weight and competition is the same). I went off TRT a while back for 3 weeks and snoring and OSA symptoms completely stopped. Now that I'm back on TRT snoring and OSA symptoms have resumed.

I've read through posts in this forum and so see there are studies showing a coorilation. My question is this: is there anything to mitigate OSA while on TRT or am I stuck using a CPAP?

There is indeed a correlation. If you don’t have additional body fat to lose then you were likely borderline. You could talk to your doctor about reducing your testosterone dose.

No one wants the OSA diagnosis, but if you need a cpap then you need it. Many guys say a cpap is a massive help and they have never slept better. OSA is a serious problem and a diagnosis and cpap could save your life. It does kill people.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
