Newbie. Do I need TRT?

Hi guys 27 years old blasted and cruised for 3 years never huge doses and no deca. No HCG on cycle and no pre cycle testosterone tests.

Been 6 months since my last injection. I ran clomid for 4 weeks at 50mg and then 4 weeks at 50mg eod.

I have zero libido. Feel weak, tired, miserable.

Just had blood work done

Test - 40 NG/dl
LH - 0.9 (1.5-9.3)
FSH - 3.7 (1.4-18.1)
TSH - 5.7
T4 - 17.1 (10-24)

From what I understand I have secondary hypogonadism as the pituitary gland isn't even sending the signal to the testicles. Does this mean I need to follow another PCT protocol or am I destined for TRT?

Welcome to Excelmale. What you need is a doctor who is experienced in post-cycle therapy. Are you in the United States?

I'm afraid I'm in the UK. Doctors are very backwards thinking in terms of TRT over here. I have an appointment booked in to see an endocrinologist but treatment here is Nebido or gels neither I'm too keen on. If I need TRT I'll self medicate and self monitor.

Did you read the link that was sent? A 27 year-old should not rush into TRT. Even though you are in the UK, you could schedule a phone consultation with doctors in the States to get a perspective on this. It was self-medication that put you in the middle of the predicament you're in. Please, don't be too quick to rush into anything.

I am suggesting that it's one, respected, protocol to present to your doctor. Are you willing to go outside the NHS and seek private treatment?

You will have to get another blopd test to confirm the low t. If no change than check your pituitary and check prolactin levels as well. Get some hcg run it and see what happenes in a month. Depending on your endo if he is cool than none of these check will be an issue.
That is very f low T. Mine was ar 306 on my own. And I was put on trt 100 mg weekly and my levels are at 874 as of last test been on trt for 5 weeks now. You are definately a candidate for it based on your levels.

At age 27. I would think if you could find a good doctor, restart is the best option. I also think maybe you could restart naturally? It looks like you have hypothyroidism, you need a complete thyroid panel.

You need a good doctor, and a full thyroid panel. Your TSH is pretty high.

Have you considered a phone consult with Defy Medical? Since you're in the UK, they can't prescribe you meds, but they can evaluate your lab work, medical history, and advise you on a course of action.

You're not going to find any better doctors to advise you than Dr. Saya or Dr. Crisler. They are the cutting edge when in comes to anything related to TRT. Trust me, it will be worth every penny spent.

Your Low T is the least glaring problem in that set of labs.

You're LH is statistically 0, I'd look strongly there as a pituitary problem in one regard isn't signaling the testes to make T, and then on the other hand is dogging the daylights out of your Thyroid. More complete thryoids are needed...TSH/T3/T4, Reverse T3, and anti-bodies.

Assess thyroid status with free T3, free T4, TSH, reverse T3. Ideal TSH levels is 1.4 mIU/L or less.
