Life Extension in US has a diosmin product also they advertise for leg circulation:

Micronized Purified Flavonoid Fraction [sweet orange extract (peel) providing 450 mg diosmin, 50 mg of flavonoids expressed as hesperidin]

500 mg

Perhaps it might act similarly as Hemovel?

Yes, the LE brand is the same as Venixxa shown in post #10

Venixxa - micronized purified flavonoid fraction (MPFF), each tablet of 500 mg contains 450 mg diosmin and 50 mg hesperidin.

*Venixxa’s active ingredient is a micronized purified flavonoid fraction (MPFF). It is composed of citrus bioflavonoids, containing 90% diosmin and 10% other flavonoids expressed as hesperidin.

Hemovel - each tablet contains 600 mg diosmin without additional flavonoids.

Both products are available over the counter in Canada.

*Flavonoids are oral venoactive drugs frequently prescribed to relieve the symptoms of chronic venous disorders (CVD). Among venoactive drugs, diosmin is a naturally occurring flavonoid glycoside that can be isolated from various plant sources; it can also be obtained after the conversion of hesperidin extracted from citrus rinds. Micronized purified flavonoid fraction (MPFF) is a preparation that contains mainly diosmin and a small fraction of hesperidin

I like the idea of using the previously described flavonoids as opposed to horse chestnut (which one vascular surgeon I know actually recommends).

@madman would you have any idea if a product like Hemovel could act synergistically with other NO supplements (thinking it might be useful as an adjunct in ED)?

Would be a good addition as it can have beneficial effects on vascular health.

Can be costly depending on the dose used.

I take 1000 mg MPFF (900 mg diosmin and 100 mg hesperidin) split twice daily.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
