New here, cheers from Chile

Around 3 years now I think. There was a period of time where I was only injecting ventroglutes daily, so each side was being hit every other day. After some months of that I did start to develop some soreness which suggested I was doing damage. Every 4 days though seems totally sustainable, provided the needles and injection volumes are on the smaller side.
Interesting, good to know that extra time seems to allow sustainable healing.

This is my shallow IM technique when I use hCG plus testosterone. 90 degrees on shoulders. I use 27 gauge 1/2 inch.

IM everyday here, rotating ventroglutes and quads (outside side, much better than anything towards the top). Like Phil, I've determined every 4 days is a sustainable interval to poke the same muscle long term without damage, provided you use small gauge needles. I also try to slightly vary the injection spot over time.
I'm curious on the thinking of going with quads instead of delts. Doesn't IM in quads usually have more potential for issues? I'm asking as someone with no experience.

Quads have potential for issues when you inject the top/front of the quad, and what we mean by "issues" here is hitting a nerve and experiencing distinctly unpleasant sensations as a result.

You will not have issues injecting the outside side of the quad (90 degrees off from the top center if you were looking at a cross-section of the leg, 9 or 3 o'clock on a clock). It took me a long time to figure this out actually, as the typical recommendation is to inject the outer third of the quad, which I took to mean injecting the top of your thigh as viewed from a seated position, towards the outer edge. Nope, you'll hit nerves doing that, as I discovered repeatedly. You want to inject the SIDE of your leg, not the top.

Delts are a great choice for most people, but mine leak oil for some reason, with any needle shorter than 1". I don't understand why, and it is the only injection site where I've ever experienced leakage. A more common issue some have is insufficient flexibility to reach across the body to self-administer a delt injection.

Great explanation, thanks.

@FunkOdyssey does this video demonstrate what you're describing closely enough?

No, that's where you inject if you want to hit nerves. Needs to be further down on the side of the leg like this:
