Hi all, been going through the options on this for some time; A little info about myself before going into the labs - 26 year old suffering with low libido and ED for roughly a year and a half. First went to my GP with the ED and got a blood test on the NHS, never saw the number for my T count, only was told "low normal" and sent away with some cialis. When this didn't fix things I went back and was told it was psychological and the doc suggested counseling. After no progress following this I took matters in my own hands (sept 2017) and got my blood tested again, showing 10.7 nmol/l, which seems quite low, and my free T was 0.22nmol/l. I felt this may have had something to do with my issues.
Following this I took steps to improve my lifestyle, moved closer to work for shorter commute and more sleep, increased my vitamin D and supplemented ZMA. Overall I live a healthy lifestyle even prior to this, lifting three times a week and following a good diet. One thing in my past was a very short run in with Dbol back in 2012, a gym buddy and I tried some of the stuff (incredibly stupid I know, we didn't know better) for several weeks along with nolvadex, in the end nothing came of it and we believed we may have had duds but, for all I know that could have been the beginning. In 2013 I had some trouble with a puffy nipple that I had bloods for that I need to dig up, although again nothing came of this.
The problems I'm having are devastating my relationship and I'm really in need of guidance as to what to do next. I'm young for TRT and would like to exhaust all possible fixes - plus NHS GPs have really not helped thus far.
So my latest result last week came back with a T count of 8.98nmol/l (Feb 2018)which concerned me as despite trying to improve it has decreased!
I am wondering whether to go to a private TRT clinic here in the UK and get things investigated properly, or hope that the NHS provides the tests, but unsure as thus far they haven't helped at all. Apologies for the long intro but I am quite lost with this and hope somebody here might be able to advise!
