hello - have been reading thru the forum a bit and finally decided to post and see if anyone has any thoughts on my particular situation ...

34 yo old here
suffering from low t (avg about 200) with symptoms of ED and fatigue.
cialis not very effective.

have had sperm count checked out ok.
have had MRI to rule out pituitary gland issues.

dont want to start meds that might reduce sperm count as hoping to start family soon.

does this medication make sense?
50mg clomiphene 4 days a week
200mg Co Q10 daily
100mg Stendra as needed

new urologist is prescribing this, i just had blood drawn to get a baseline and follow up in 6 weeks. sound safe? any concerns? thank you all for the help!

Many men do not feel a boost in mood, energy levels and sexual function with clomiphene use. However, this drug is very good at increasing LH, FSH, testosterone and sperm count/volume. The higher T levels somehow do not translate in better sexual function. I have seen no paper explaining this discrepancy.

Is Clomid (Clomiphene) Effective to Increase Testosterone, Fertility and Sperm Volume?
You can preserve fertility by using testosterone injections or gels plus 500 IU HCG every other day as reported by Dr Lipshultz team in Houston. You can read more about HCG and this study here:

The Use of HCG to Prevent / Reverse Testicular Shrinkage and Preserve Fertility

According to Dr. Crisler, in The Low T Book, this is because it can make SHBG levels soar in some men. So while total T goes up, FreeT can actually go down.

Great find, man!

Did you also notice the estradiol increase?

It amazes me that a company is actually going to have the FDA approve their clomiphene isomer to increase T and that they do not measure erectile function and sex drive in their study.

Thanks for the info! Do you think it is worth trying? I like that if it does help, should know relatively quick (6 weeks). Any risk in trying? thanks

No risk in trying but I will be surprised if your T elevation does not disappear after you stop the clomid.

By the way, Stendra is not that great. I felt nothing on that weak PED5 inhibitor.
