Needle size.... IM and SI inject

I currently use 25g x 1.5 for 3 x wk test cyp injects... however I am going to Test Prop ED and I will be experimenting between SI and IM injects... for SI I will be using my HCG 31g needles, but for IM I am thinking about 27g x 1.5....

Has anyone used 27g x 1.5 for IM.....?

I personally use 27 gauge 0.5" and inject IM into my thighs. 27 gauge draws up quick, injects quick, is pretty painless while inserting needle into thigh, and 0.5" seems to be plenty to get into the muscle if I do it on the right spots of my thigh where the skin and fat layer is extremely thin.

@Gman86... thanks bro.... just told the pharmacy to include a combination 27g 1" and 1.5" as I will be shooting mainly buttocks...

I used Easy Touch 29g 1/2"syringe for both HCG and testosterone, it makes a nice shallow IM injection.

BTW, just wondering, from a couple excel male members, what is the great obsession with "easy touch" brand? There are many brands of insulin syringes that are comparable and work just fine. I've used easy touch, and also Nipro trueplus, terumo and monoject. All are just fine.

from my personal experience with insulin syringes... I've used many brands as well and there was one in particular (I can't remember the brand name) that had a problem with where the insulin needle was secured to the to the syringe. the glue was uneven, sharp, jagged and left cuts after injections.. Ive never had any probs with easy touch... just my .02
