Need help getting started

Well my journey has been 5 years. Lowest test 251. Highest 369. Been through 4 GPs. All told me I'm in normal range. Been to one endo and he wouldn't help either. I'm 52. Former drug free power lifter. Seems I declined after I stopped weights. Now I have no motivation to workout. Basically I need an instruction book on how to get this process started from getting blood work to a script. I've done my homework and I'm ready to go.

I am with Defy so let me outline how it works with them. (They are one of the top TRT providers in the US as well BTW) You call them to set-up an initial consult with one of their doctors. if you already have recent lab work you can use that no problem, or you can get it though Defy or through discountedlabs.com You need a recent physical as well. At your initial consult the Doc will go over your labs and answer any and all question you may have and prescribe what you need for (if you need) TRT. You only pay for consults, meds, and labs - no monthly or yearly fees. Everything is done via phone or email and a great many of us on the forum use and recommend them.

Just to add a couple things to this, since I'm transitioning to Defy Medical from a local clinic right now.

My recent blood work wasn't recent enough, and I had not had a physical in a while. I thought that was going to delay things a lot, but it didn't. I talked to Defy on the phone, and they gave me a Lab order to take to my local LabCorp (my insurance doesn't pay for lab work like this, so I paid Defy directly - found their costs to be cheaper than I could find elsewhere anyway and this ensures they get the data they need). Also - I lost my Primary Care Physician due to a recent insurance change and haven't found a new one. Defy to the rescue - they said NO PROB - any Urgent Care Clinic can do this. So for $60 out of pocket, I had an urgent care clinic do my physical and they provided their own DOT form as well as filled out Defy's form. Easy peasy.

So I got both of those done the day after I first contacted them. Blood results take 4-5 days typically. Longest lead time, if you knock out the above items like I did, will be getting on Dr. Saya or Dr. Crisler's calendar for the initial consult. Maybe a couple weeks out.

My consult is on Tuesday and I can't wait to get their expert opinion on my protocol!
