Nandrolone in California

I do and I had run into a problem. At some point Defy had prescribed me Nandrolone for some joint issues which really helped. About a year or two later CA decided to longer allow Nandrolone to be sent into CA by vendors.

The workaround was having it sent to a friend in a state Defy could send it to and then have the friend forward it on to me. Easy peasy albeit with added costs. I was pretty sure I can transfer my prescription privately in this manner as I wish.

Today I researched into this a little deeper and it appears it might actually be illegal. Not 100% sure yet but it doesn’t look good. The last thing I would want is getting the good samaritan who is forwarding these on to me into trouble, nor do I want any myself.

Can anyone chime in on this, is it crazy to keep doing it this way or should I just chill about it?
I really don’t want to get someone else in trouble. If it’s actually illegal I have to tell them and that would be pretty much the end of it. Any ideas would be welcome.

I would not worry too much, but this is what I found (Perplexity)

It is generally illegal to mail prescription medications, including Schedule III controlled substances, across state lines unless specific conditions are met. Here are the key points:

  1. Who Can Legally Mail Prescription Drugs:
    • Only entities registered with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), such as licensed pharmacies, drug manufacturers, or authorized medical practitioners, can mail prescription drugs legally147.
    • The drugs must be properly prescribed and packaged according to federal and state regulations24.
  2. Controlled Substances:
    • Mailing controlled substances like Schedule III drugs is tightly regulated under the Controlled Substances Act.
    • Both the sender and recipient must be registered with the DEA unless exempt (e.g., military or law enforcement)12.
  3. Exceptions:
    • Pharmacies with proper licensing can mail prescriptions to patients in compliance with state and federal laws. For example, some states require additional licenses for mail-order pharmacy operations69.
  4. Penalties for Illegal Mailing:
    • Mailing prescription drugs without proper authorization can result in severe legal consequences, including package seizure, fines, or imprisonment4.
In summary, unless you are a DEA-registered entity or exempt under specific circumstances, mailing a Schedule III prescription medication across state lines is prohibited.

Oh good Lord. Now I feel awful.

I guess that means mission aborted. Looks like this is the end of my Nandrolone prescriptions. Back to test only.

Thanks for the info! Might have saved me and even more so someone else from getting into trouble.

Hopefully with RFK Jr in office, they’ll make HRT easier and more accessible to get. He’s on it himself, so I would assume that’s on the agenda for them at some point to address and fix

I just found out that Belmar got approved.
