Recent blood work at 9 10 am, revealed 527 total test, 51 free test, and 99 bioavailable test. Two years ago my results were 757, 65 and 120. My Dr says everything is fine, except my PSA ,which is 4.6
This is gibberish without the normal ranges! Remember the majority of doctors are obsessed with lab ranges, in range, even at the bottom 25 percentile, which many experts argue are signs of hypogonadism, doctors simply don’t care.Recent blood work at 9 10 am, revealed 527 total test, 51 free test, and 99 bioavailable test.
she is correct. technically of course its important however its a guess and no real standard.. i am sure a few endo/uro will want to do the work and start developing it if already are not. I imagine its a tuff thing as to do so for it to be actualy reliable the study would be VERY expensive and at the end may never get adopted. and public health that would have capability in other countries prob doesnt want to waste the resources.Btw today I asked my Endo if I should be worried about my low bioavailable test level She said no,that totally test is a more reliable measurement
Testosterone deficiency isn’t defined by total testosterone. If you have low bio available test or free testosterone and normal total testosterone and symptoms of low testosterone, most endocrinologist wouldn’t do anything for you, which is a travesty!Btw today I asked my Endo if I should be worried about my low bioavailable test level She said no,that totally test is a more reliable measurement
