I have been using melatonin and dhea for six months. Recently my urologist is my blood test revealed a test level of 800 and LH of 15.4. He told me to get off dhea, cause the test level was bad for my bones and heart. After 1month he will retest my blood then prescribe test. I am skeptical about all this, any feedback?

What your doctor told you makes no sense. But, in order to offer substantive feedback, can you tell us how old you are, why your heart is an issue, what your estradiol sensitive is (low estradiol, not healthy testosterone levels, undermine bone and skeletal health)? Hypogonadism is a cardiovascular challenge - not comfortable testosterone levels.

Gotta chime in… 800 is a perfectly normal T level (I assume we're talking ng/dL) and most likely totally unrelated to your DHEA supplementation. Your doctor doesn't have the slightest idea what he's talking about.

EDIT: Also I'm confused… if your T is "too high" why is your doc talking about prescribing testosterone?

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
